January

Postby Stella » Fri Jan 09, 2015 4:12 pm

Image

And creating now
from a cooler palette
the frosty air of winter
paints pastel, moody hues
over the hillsides and valleys
sleeping ’neath snow pillows that
blend into the horizon so beautifully
where all is still and peaceful.

Oh yes, I adore this artwork
from Mother Nature in January
she paints of serenity on her canvas
her fragile snowflakes, each one unique
shimmers and dances before my eyes then
gently turns into a soft teardrop on my cheek.
Fresh tingle touches of a trembling breeze kiss me
and I am divinely humbled .

Ahh Stella, you give such good reason to enjoy the cold, wet. snowy season and, of course, you are right as each season has its own merits. Thank you for this compelling tribute, almost making me want to jump on the next airline flight to savour the crisp air but I think I'll just enjoy the picture postcard (and your lovely write) version from afar. Have a Blessed New year.

How grand you present this heartwarming write depicting the tenderness and fragility found in this beautiful month, Stella. You capture the eye with your soft imagery and you touch us with the tender tactile feel you convey so majestically, Ma'am. A beautiful write to experience this most fine morning, my friend. God bless you.

This is Mother Nature at her beautiful best, and even though others in your community may complain about the cold, you turn to creativity and paint magic with your images thank you Stella.
