The children came with balloons and a fancy cake,
My favorite ice cream and the Happy Birthday song
For this special date...
Singing at the top of their voices in grand harmony
"Happy Birthday!"...as sweet as could be.
Dear Earl, prepared a dinner fit for a queen
With my favorite everything on the table...ah, what a scene.
Hard to believe I am now "83", what a true blessing,
God has granted me.
Sharing these moments with you adds to the treasure
Of friends and family spreading love without measure.
