It was

It was on a Monday, that I was feeling low,
But it was on a Tuesday that I thought where should I go ?
Too soon it was Wednesday, and I finally ventured out.
Then it was a Thursday , that I decided to go out and about,
Whereas on Friday, a thought came to me,
So on Saturday, I went down to the beach and sea.
Next it was Sunday, and yet again I said,
I'll not get up today, but stay in bed instead !!

Going back to bed is fine for sleeping but it is not good to escape there, hiding from the world. You will miss out on living when bed becomes a misguided friend. It is fine for afternoon naps to refresh your mind and write another fine poem.
