It is a sad song
When writers don't write
And a melancholy thing when singers
Don't raise their voices in song
And a much sadder song when
One's lover is gone.

Yes Dorothy this is very sad indeed and when I came to the last line I was even sadder. A sensitive and touching poem Dorothy.

Melancholic thoughts here my friend, it is sad when when people don't use their gifts and even sadder when love dies..
