A tribute to Neil Diamond

Postby Wordsmith » Wed Jan 14, 2015 5:25 pm

HELLO AGAIN said the voice , dear SWEET CAROLINE as you know I was a SOLITARY MAN. I had taken to drink RED RED WINE until I met you.

Replying Caroline said Is our LOVE ON THE ROCKS for YOU DON'T BRING ME FLOWERS. Sometimes I think you just PLAY ME, for I saw you with that
CRACKLIN ROSIE , who is dressed FOREVER IN BLUE JEANS, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN ?

Devastated he replied But on THIS SEPTEMBER MORN . I hear a BEAUTIFUL NOISE it's our song.IF YOU GO AWAY to AMERICA , I will follow you there my KENTUCKY WOMAN. Then I will sing you a LONGFELLOW SERENADE .

Relenting she said, Isn't that THE STORY OF MY LIFE , for I'M A BELIEVER and because you MAKE IT FEEL LIKE CHRISTMAS every day, I'M ALIVE and so happy. So if I DON't SEE YOU AGAIN, our romance will be DONE TOO SOON.

I am a man with a SUNNY DISPOSITION and I know I am not good at THE ART OF LOVE , but THE BOAT THAT I ROW will always ensure that you will be safe and HOME BEFORE DARK. So I suggest we start again on ANOTHER DAY

Love this Jan, i once did a similar thing with Leonard Cohen songs.

It is really well done, a wonderful tribute to a great singer...
