Contact.

Oracles whisper to beggars or nobles,
pilgrims or poets,
all can clearly hear words un-uttered.

Tongues of angels declare such reality
to those who most need
expressions from worlds as yet unseen.

This is no illusion, un-worded speech
like spears of pure light
renews each ear listening for Paradise.

Contact is made with
interchange between land and sea
at day's beginning,
water burbling to a tuneful breeze,
bee and bird singing
with flora's chorusing at just being
alive, each fragile leaf
dancing to symphonic wind-tease,
all excels merely
to self, this then is that piercingly
dumb language that
Oracles celebrate and ask us to feel.

A sublime feel you apply to this outstanding write, Fay. A spiritual component combined with the sense of communing with nature, and how the descriptiveness of this utterly wonderful verse speaks to my heart and soul, my friend. So many beautiful phrases that give voice to the glory found in "that piercingly / dump language". Magnificent, Ma'am!

Oracles, dismissed by so many, and yet they are around us in our silent thinking and imaginings... not dumb at all to the creative mind.

Another beautiful write from you Fay...so pleasing.

Oh, I love this, because that's exactly what we do as poets/artists. We listen and hear the unuttered. Very lovely poem.
