Just For You Poetry

And so to sleep,
I´ll try to join again
the dream I sadly
had to leave last night,

try to join it where I left it
wanting,
wanting for it
never to end or fade,
but fade it did
leaving defused yearning
in pastel shades of
dissatisfaction.

Restless sleep let me return
to the dream that was
to end all dreams...

I know this feeling Tom, a longing to re-engage into the moments that awakening have stolen from you.

That warmth you had sunk into that was so precious you couldn't bear to leave it for fear of never finding it again in the ether...

Why is it one battles to remember dreams. I know I do and this little write of yours, Tom, makes me yearn for those faded dreams even more. DRAT! (Which stands for "Dreams R Always Tantalizing").
