A Maxim For Living

Postby Joseph Anderson » Fri Jan 23, 2015 2:17 pm

It matters little what you gather,
on life's pathway, day by day.
It's the seeds you sow or scatter,
that will flourish, on your way.

IF you sow with love and kindness
daily, in the deeds you do;
Compassion is not known for blindness,
good things will return to you.

Take your greed and hate and envy,
park them on life's pathway gate.
Down the road I'm sure you will see
all the good things that await.

Fill your life with work you love,
take a little time for play;
Seek some comfort from above,
live your life, just day by day.

If your life becomes unnerving,
seemingly in disarray;
Lighten up your load by serving,
it should brighten up your day.

A good way to live

A wonderful maxim for living Joseph, your words are so wise..

There is more pleasure in giving than taking, listening is often better than talking and love shared always comes back, often manyfold..

Thank you so much for posting your lovely words here...:o)

This is so true Joseph and as Stella comments it is wise as well. A wonderful maxim for living with rhyme and rhythm adding to the good morals of love and kindness the seeds sow. It reminds me of the inspirational writing Seema so beautifully crafts too Joseph.
