Peaceful
is the night sky
peaceful

Shimmering stars adorn a sapphire sky
whilst the silver moon resides in splendour
over angels of the night as they pray.
This is the night sky
peaceful


Serene
is the night sky
serene

Lullabies of silent words sing to me,
harmonious clouds float in thin blue veils
as they lift me beyond my reasoning.
This is the night sky
serene


Quiet
is the night sky
quiet

The peace lulls us to close our earthly minds
and venture into a reverent sleep
in calm meditation that soothes our souls.
This is the night sky
quiet


Heavenly
is the night sky
heavenly

I reach out with my hands yet cannot touch
but my prayers are allowed to enter there,
the grace of God flourishes in that place.
this is the night sky
heavenly
