The sun it shone a light so bright
down at Cape Cornwall next the sea
when out the water come a sight to fright
well I´ll tell you now it frightened me.
I was just a kid of eleven years
well ten and a half to be precise,
but I´ll not forget that thing I saw
it´ll probably haunt me all my life.
A giant hand of fifty feet
rose up from out the sea
moving sloooowly left annnnnd right
it was the biggest wave I ever see...

It must have been a massive freak wave, and I can understand how you would never forget it. I love how you tell the story as the little boy and you exaggerate your age and the giant hand and the title is so apt Tom.

I think that would've haunted my dreams for a long time. You've described it quite well. :-)

Ha! A fun read, to be sure, Tom. Indeed, that has to be the biggest wave ever recorded, sir.
