I Have Never Been To Mexico

Postby Cindy » Wed Feb 04, 2015 3:59 am

It spilled across the border and planted itself
Stretching its roots like a weed
Creeping across the country
Springing up into whole neighborhoods and businesses
Lush and vibrant

So there it is...
Mexico
A piece of Mexico right here
And I can smell it before I reach the door

It smells of jalapeños, tomatoes, and cilantro
It smells like tortillas and beans
I didn't step into a restaurant
No, I stepped into Mexico
And I've been invited to dinner

I smell Mexico
I taste Mexico
Zesty, spicey Mexico
It is here

I have never been to Mexico
Yet...
I have
And it's oh, so delicious!

Cindy, I absolutely love Mexican food...my all-time favorite kind of food in the world, for sure! And now I am craving some tacos, enchiladas, and some chile verde, Ma'am.

What an amazing imagination you have and all the ingredients sound yummy. You have all the comforts of home and you are in Mexico too!
Cheers to a wonderful write Cindy.
