Snow disappearing in fragmented unison
glides down my windowpane
in icicled beauty.

Sun in disintegrating ice-flaky goodbyes
creates diamonds no paper
money could ever buy.

Come noon this vision in white will then
have glittered itself away
but I shall remember.

The startling beauty of the scene is well worth remembering, Fay. During our Alaskan winters, we are given such spectacular views involving snow, ice, sunshine, northern lights, etc. The experience is priceless..."no paper / money could ever buy" such grandness, Ma'am. A gem of a poem, my friend.

We are fortunate in that we have snow but not too much like some countries, and we are able to enjoy these beautiful little flakes when they comes in light showers. Each flake a tiny miracle on its own.. to be remembered as you say with such pleasure, perfect natural gems.

Because I do not see snow in Australia, I can appreciate it through poetic images. And I shall also remember what a delight it is for me to have had the pleasure of experiencing the magic of flaky goodbyes Fay.
