Free Spirited Butterflies

Postby apoetwholovestosing » Sat Feb 07, 2015 10:54 pm

It seems it was just yesterday we met,
Some ten odd years ago - a blind date -
The years have gone too fast,
Where did the time go? I ask
A silent room - you're not here;
And my mind's again adrift
On the cool waves of memories.

If there is more to love than the sweet
Bitter ecstasy we shared so long
Lock it away, least we become slave to this
Master of gladness,
We, free spirited butterflies.
