Dreams and Reality

Postby apoetwholovestosing » Tue Feb 10, 2015 4:02 pm

Yesterday we laughed
And loved
And dreamed...
Today we love and cry,
Loving no less yet
Suddenly how wide the bride
Between reality and a dream...
Today we dream
Yet cry,
Dry eyed,
It hurts when we swallow!
Yesterday
We laughed
And loved
And dreamed!

So well composed this tribute to changes between dreams and reality and how they appear in memory. A wonderful read Dorothy.

With the future spread out so gloriously before us when we are younger, we give no thought to how we'll feel when we gain a few years, Dorothy...and though we still love and laugh, we also have learned of pain and have felt the sting of tears, Ma'am. A beautiful write, Ma'am.
