I’ll not do that again for sure
miss the nail and hit my thumb
it ended up so bloody sore
I’ll not do that again for sure,
I tried to hide it but she saw
my wife she laughed and said I’m dumb
I’ll not do that again for sure

If only we could be sure that we didn't repeat, over and over, those mistakes that lead to such pain and embarrasment, Tom. A fun read, my friend, and one that put a big smile on my face (as I've hit my thumb too many times before, and haven't learned, it would appear).

This made me smile. I can picture this all too well. We've all been there. Maybe not with a hammer and nail, but we've all been there. This is an adorable poem.

This is highly amusing and I hope you did not lose your nail. We all make mistakes and I love the repeats in your Triolet Tom.
