A way? or The Way. by J316, on Flickr

Easy, 'tis, to praise Your name
when well it goes the flow
within our lives, Your blessings felt,
and with smiles we praise You so.

With ease we lift up praise to You
while storms are held at bay.
We say we're in Your perfect will
when Your bounty's on display.

But what of times when thunders roar
and choppy seas us seize?
When leisure ripped from out of hands,
and trials drive us to our knees?

Comfort torn, waylaid by strife,
but still I praise You, and all the more,
though tribulations wrack my soul,
it is You, Lord, I adore.

I know it rains on rich and poor,
this mortal life, so given;
but thankful am I, and all the more,
to know I've been forgiven.

Your admirable faith is indeed a blessing for you and your family, and this is a privilege to linger over. As Cindy comments, I love the last stanza too thank you Richard.

A perfectly captured peep into a living faith Richard - -- this poem needs to be read in all lands where appreciation of given blessings need a helping hand. A shining example of excellent rhyming too - - thank you dear friend.
