Clear
reason remonstrates with romantic
wishes that for years lay soaked 'neath
undeclared Valentine dreams.
Now
eyes shine limpid like dew-washed
sapphires when romance aspires to
step in and bridge the breach.
Bold
words assemble, roped by wishful
poetic hope that such confession
may help a Someone to guess
Who
writes this passionate verse which
contains desire no longer denied
and love no more suppressed.
So Please
be mine and make Paradise glow
with Valentine vows of devotion.
