I read this story in the newspaper this morning and it really touched me... May the little girl always be happy and may God save her from the pain and suffering caused by cancer
*******************************************************

The make-a -wish foundation,
Celebrated Valentine's Day,
By fulfilling the special wish
Of a young girl aged seven,
Who is terminally ill.

Brought to Mumbai for treatment,
By her very poor parents,
She had a long cherished dream,
To be a police officer,
For at least a single day.

Her request touched the forces,
They took her in a special van
Straight to the station, where she
Was saluted by the Chief,
And allowed to sit in his chair.

She signed a few orders in style,
Returned the salute proudly,
It was for her a dream come true.
Let's hope this kind police gesture
Boosts her morale and her health...

These "Make a Wish" foundations do such wonderful work with those who are very sick or terminally ill.

The little girl must have felt so happy that her wish had been granted..
