A sigh whispers in the stillness
as a breath in the hush of night
A cloud drifts like angel wings
across the moon and from my sight
A star blinks from eternity
where it is already tomorrow
they say it is the brightest one
that lost lovers should follow
I know being here together
there are no words we need to say
Love is best not spoken
for it doesn’t grow that way
I may see you if I stay awhile
in the silence and closing of my eyes
for where there are memories
love like ours never dies
