Morning Noon and Night

The dawn chorus sings
sun peeks over horizon
winter morn begins.
Salmon coloured clouds
drift across robin egg skies
snow is on the way.
Snow falling gently
against a dark night backdrop
winter wonderland.

Very beautiful. I try not to admit in any way shape or form that snow or winter can be beautiful these days, but gladly gave it a rest just for your poem. Definately beautiful.

Picturesque haiku and I particularly love the second one as "salmon coloured clouds drift across robin egg skies" really did it for me. Your imagery is superb throughout this sequence of haiku thank you Tom.

A wonderful string of haiku Tom, lovely imagery in each one from sunrise to sunset... i especially like the middle one
