When we step back and take stock
Of our daily mundane lives.

Lent is a time to repent,
Get closer to our Saviour,
By reading the Holy Book.

Lent is a time to recall
Our less fortunate brothers,
By reaching out to them.

Lent is a time to forgive
Those who have caused us pain,
By waving the friendship flag

Lent is a time to forget
Our many wants and focus
On spirituality.

Lent is a time for prayer,
Let us all pray together
For peace in our disturbed world.
