Some Days Are Like That

The sun is wild today
Dancing on the highways
Spreading, latching onto trees
Of every kind...
Just splashed itself on my windshield,
Tickled my knuckles holding the wheel.
Look!
It's lighting up the sky!
The snow melts away under her laughter.
The sun has followed me home, teasing
The landscape,
Now chasing me through my
Front door!
Outside again, tapping on my window,
Reminding me to smile!
