Puddle Dreams

Postby Cindy » Sun Mar 15, 2015 11:53 am

The rain came down
It felt like rivers

Puddles with ocean dreams
Quivered with delight

Ahhh, thwarted again
The clouds moved on

Only the trees kept raining
A drizzle too far

Reflections languished
...not one ripple.

A delight to read. 'Puddles that want to be oceans'. It's what
originality is all about .

Such creative imagery and 'puddles with ocean dreams quivered with delight really' did it for me'. I will look at puddles with a different viewpoint now Cindy.

i love the heavy rain when runs like a river along the roads , and puddles can quite magical as they swirl with the flow.. they might well be "oceans of dreams"..

Puddle is such a lovely word. I remember as a child I would stand on the edge of puddles and get the feeling of falling into their depths, almost as if I was falling into the ocean so this enchanting write evokes special memories. Hey Puddle! You are an ocean to me! Thanks for this dream, Cindy.

Such nice imagery, Cindy...and the rain can be so cleansing and bring a beautiful scent to the air, Ma'am.
