Snowdrop

An angel breathed on a passing snowflake,
falling to earth it became a snowdrop;
this first flower brings purity and hope.

Primrose

Secretly nurtured in verdant cradles,
tiny primrose faces shyly peek out
in search of the fragile kiss of sunshine.

Bluebells

Tiny thimbles ring out in the woodland,
precious symbols of everlasting love.
fairies will cast a spell if you harm them.

Daffodils

A gathering of golden daffodils,
rebirth, new beginnings in sunshine glow,
this Lenten lily dances in the breeze.

You have cast a spell over me with this glorious Stellanette and I agree with Seema as it is magical. My favourite image is 'tiny thimbles ring out in the woodland' and the music complements the poem beautifully Stella.

I always enjoy your wonderful 'Stellanettes'. Poetic perfection and a delight to read.
It's a good job your first name isn't 'Fish' though.

A floral delight of a Stellanette, Stella. "This Lenten lily dances in the breeze" did it for me, just beautiful.

I really like how you picked a different flower for each stanza. Beautiful.

A full bouquet of beautiful flowers, aptly described and given life, Stella. A most wondrous form and a glorious verse, Ma'am.
