Little Messages For My Daughter (Pentaiku poem)

(A Pentaiku Poem)]

Mother are animals wiser than us?

‘We are all nature
and share with living creatures
dark, rain, light and sun’

If animals are wise why don’t they smile?

‘They smile in their hearts
keep your pockets full of sun
to share with others.’

Some people do not smile why is this so?

‘A smile is a gift
for a lonely old person
beam them with your love’.

Some people do not have any friends so why?

‘If you want a friend
remember to have a friend
you need to be one’

‘Why were you chosen to be my mother?’

‘Dear heart fate chose me
to guide you through love’s seasons
‘til you seek your own?’

Tom will be thrillled when he sees that you have written a gem of a poem in his special form the "Pentaiku" Karin.

You have risen to his challenge with sensitivity and love in your words, beautiful my friend.. :) :) :)

Karin-A great conversational type of poetry. I have never heard of that word, but then I like it. I believe I could do that, but not like you,Stella or Tom.
It was a joy to read. A fine job.

A beautiful usage of both form and encouragement -- this poem bubbles with wise answers to a wondering young mind. Thank you Karin for posting this little message.

Love the way you have worded this little piece Karin it really touches the heart - the last stanza brought a tear to the eye so much love
within your word - the music added that extra special touch and just had to listen twice so relaxing - heavenly
