A Line Of Rhyme

Postby denysruak » Sat Apr 04, 2015 7:18 am

A Line of Rhyme

One fine, sunny afternoon,
I think in the month of June,
there was a Line of Rhyme alone
wanting to find some home,
.... wanting to find some tome.

Rhyme had been searching for awhile
a place with a bit of style,
a place where it could gain
friends of a similar refrain,
.... friends of a similar domain.

Then later a a railway station
while Rhyme was now sitting in stagnation,
there came along a Book called Diction
AiRilY displaying its depiction,
.... airily displaying its conviction.

Dictionary and Rhyme started a discussion
regarding a possible repercussion
should Rhyme's supposed condition
was not resolved and in remission,
.... was not resolved and in position.

It was then that they both realized
the situation was already idealized,
the proof of which is displayed
in all of the above arrayed,
.... in all of the above conveyed,
.... in all of the above portrayed,
.... in all of the above charade,
.... in all of the above masque(rade)!
I hope you are not dismayed.
If not, please join the parade.
