Busy , Busy

One minute its Monday, then the week has gone,
no time left to write or sing a song.
Where has the weeks gone to I say,
there just aren't enough hours in the day.
Been looking after son in law,
Helping OH with logs to saw.
Organising a charity event to raise money,
OH is fraught , but calls me honey !
Believe me , being retired is not fun,
All I want to do is read and sit in the sun.
Oscar said Youth is wasted on the young.
Retirement means no days off too,
For everyone thinks you have nothing to do.
Just wait until you retire i say,
Then you will long for an inactive day !!
