For Tom ( a response to his poem)

When it was dark that night in the park
two lonely souls met not knowing yet
each was a friend and until life did end
they would share a bed although unwed
he would gently groom she would purr and bloom
then he smiled in delight and late every night
they didn’t just talk they took a walk
in the local park where it was dark
he thought her divine she made his eyes shine
he will never forget the love that he met
the stray cat in the park that night it was dark

A beautiful sequel as a response to Tom's poem. This is true love so, I do not disapprove of the sharing a bed although they are unwed. Plus this is what happens in society now. I also love how 'he would gently groom and she would purr and bloom' for the internal rhyme thank you Stella.
