My Tribute to Sanity

[Stella]

When i think of you
my whole me softens,
I always sigh
and sometimes I cry;
for that is what you do to me
the world just melts away,
there is only you and i
in this space of mine
this heaven,
nothing else is or can be
when i am lost
with you in your melody.


A tribute to Ernesto Cortazar who has inspired so much of my poetry.

Ernesto is my favorite composer and I am sure he would have loved this Tribute to him. He has composed music for 75 motion pictures and he has graced some of my poems. I have only found out his father was a composer and he lost both his parents in a terrible auto accident when he was 13 years old. May he rest in peace and your closing lines are so beautiful Stella.
