The Blue Hour

You told me of velvet indigo skies
from whence star spangled fingers
softly caress glistening moonbeams

where, under that dark inky canopy
the crescent moon smiles ecstatically
at exquisite brightly pulsating diamonds.

Of flickering comets and shooting stars,
fragmented veils kissing dusky clouds
behind which, dawn lights her new horizons.

The magic blue hour twixt night and day,
a special time of stillness before rebirth
it is in that hour that I think of You…

A moment of calm peace sweeps through my mind as this wonderful time of indigo hour takes over and lets thoughts turn to love. A simply wonderful read Stella.

I cannot praise your imagery high enough. It is superb. And to
think I only started reading it because I thought , by the title
that it would be a bit smutty. He He

A beautiful depiction of that time of the day (or night, as it were) when we can reflect and remember those who had, or currently hold, a significance to us, Stella. Gorgeous imagery, my friend, and a soft, gentle feel that enfolds the heart.
