Remember when Britain had arses for sittin
but everyone stood up and worked
And now once Great Britain; So simple to gittin
Is refuge for those who have shirked

In Britain, employment, and social enjoyment
Are linked by embittering facts
That benefit none but colossal deployment
Means fat cats get rich from the tax

The poor are frustrated as jobs are created
The unemployed figures just fall
The populous figures severely inflated
Means poor folk will earn bugger all
