Matreemony

Postby stevenstirk » Sun May 03, 2015 7:07 pm

The poplar tree was popular
The sycamore was not
The sycamore had days off school
Was off syc quite a lot

The pear tree had a sister
They made a lovely pair
The ash tree smelt of ciggies
With nicotine stained hair

The Elm tree spread his seedlings
To joint and several trees
And all of them had suffered
From bad Dutch Elm disease

I'm living with a Beech tree
From other tree's I'm banned
We live just on the shoreline
And dip our roots in sand

Now what are you 'up' to but you are really down as your roots are 'down' in the sand. (lol) The metaphor of trees is incredibly creative and I love your imagination Steven!
