A Determination, Pondered

Postby Nightmute » Thu May 07, 2015 8:12 am

Trump, oh trump, fling your clarion note,
my heart in my throat,
and on this I dote
for all time.

Your call fills me with such beauteous rhyme.

Rain, dance, with softest tattoo,
while harmonics accrue
from rooftops, renew
my strength.

A much-needed soothing across my afflicted soul's length.

Oh, radiant beams, piercing the gloom,
I'm alive, in this womb,
shadows removed from the room
while I shake.

This joy, revealed, no sorrow may break.

Crisp morning's delight, and I rise
to trumpet's clear peal and the dawning of sighs;
am I wise?
This moment is mine.

With glee shall I shine?

This poem has a beautiful flow and a message to it. I like the
format you have used. The symbolism reminds me of a new
birth. The sort of poem to keep returning to.
