Burgeoning.

Winter's knife now lying buried
in burgeoning earth
means ice ceases, once birdless
the branches are now green-dressed.
.
.
.
Music of Spring unsettles the breast
of restless Nature
and sun savagely expresses
need for change without any delay.
.
.
.
Sodden ground is tired of crying
into the full pool
but garden's cold stare belies
underground movement
as seasonal battle loosens anguish
of breezy attempt
to bring early to bloom those
in the wings
waiting with myriads
of hues for spring-colour to begin.[/flickr]

Spring is quietly burgeoning unseen to us, but yes, when she sheds the cold cloak of winter she bursts through in all her beautiful gowns.

That feeling, that need, to change and become more is so vividly pronounced in this astounding write, dear Fay. Indeed, Spring's entrance is a much-needed thing that calls out incessantly in such a lovely voice, Ma'am.
