The Stink-ite

Postby stevenstirk » Tue May 12, 2015 4:34 pm

I once met a Stinkite
Who was lately on the dole
He caused contamination
Of the upstairs toilet bowl

And thus he sought employment
On the same or similar terms
And told me that his referees
Were joint and several germs

I asked the Stinkite if he'd work
And use his expertise
On other things that pong
Suggesting Gorgonzola cheese

He said that if he had a choice
He would, as such agree
To concentrate on what he knew
Like lavatories and wee

And if there was no vacancy
The kind of work he'd pick
Would be the smell of week old pee
Or geriatric sick

I've heard the Stinkite's now employed
In Westminster... pray tell
And works for politicians who
Leave quite an awful smell

 :P   A fantastic humorous write as only you can and now has me in stitches after reading your concluding lines. Stinkites certainly has the perfect job to suit his qualifications! (LOL)

Always knew politicians were on the nose. This piece confirms it. Good one, mate. The twist in the last stanza is brilliant.
