With These Hands
As the sun sleeps and the moon still dances
stars scatter the skies like stepping stones
he comes to her on the wave of a whisper
staking his claim making her his own.
A warm breeze glides across the waters
the moonlight shimmies upon the waves
a finger traces back and forth on her lips
she recalls the sweet sensation of his gaze.
His voice carries her beyond the night skies
on love's passionate wings his touch soars
I gave you my heart filled with true love
with these hands I'll give you so much more.
He came to her night after night in dreams
she adored his mysterious romantic stare
how she longed to awake from this sleep
to find the man of her dreams lying there.
