A very moving haiku as the stark images you have crafted make me shiver, knowing the topic is 'Cancer'. On a positive note, the treatment for cancer is improving for those who suffer. It is great to see you on the site again Ken.

You evoke a somberness that settles over the heart of the reader with this chilling haiku, sir. Certainly, that mood well depicts the harrowing subject matter. Well written, most assuredly.
