of love echo
hauntingly through my mind
when I think of you in my dreams,
they sing so softly in loves remembrance
enchanting my heart once again,
but you are gone from me
I hear only
whispers

I feel like whispering as well now, as this is hauntingly beautiful as 'soft sound' is featured throughout your images. This is a great use of the rictameter form Stella.

And what memories those whispers enchantingly recall! I agree with Karin that the 'softness' of this lovely rendering is prevalent but would like to add it is also thoroughly endearing.

A touching write, bittersweet, but harmonious, too, with a flavoring of sadness. The joy of remembrance is tempered by the loss of what was and by what might have been if circumstances allowed a continuance for the both, Stella. Haunting, indeed. The soft, murmuring susurration of a whisper perfectly speaks to the beautiful mood you convey in this stunning write, Ma'am.
