Forever Young (a Stellanette)

A memory
Rising again from dusty corners
A memory

There...dappled light danced on the cool water
Tiny fish flashed silver in random rays
Bare feet loitered in the silky current
Rising again from Dusty corners
A memory

Long ago
That moment in time
Long ago

Between glistening banks, bare feet waded
Reluctant to leave, clinging desperately
Wishing time would stand still...and so it has
That moment in time
Long ago

Young
It lives forever
Young

Still shining from the corners of my mind
Yes, that moment lives. The silver fish swim
And the dappled light dances, years later
It lives forever
Young

A splendid Stellanette and I feel like rejoicing as the young memory lives forever. As Stella comments you have certainly done justice to her form Cindy.

This is undoubtably one of your best . A wonderful tribute to
Stella, and an absolutely delightful poem in its own right.

An astounding write, and done so adroitly using this magnificent form, Cindy. Soft and reflective, one can feel the curtain of Time pulled back, hanging suspended and caught in mid-billowing flow, Ma'am.
