Almost Unseen.

Postby Fay Slimm » Sat Jun 06, 2015 8:05 am

Image

The picture above is of seal-bay
near where I walk Tessa daily.

The waves in today's bay ripple
almost unseen,
like moving shadows or milky
ruffles of cream,
gliding like snakes under duvets
of billowing green
patching its face in smoky grey
an unwary sea
reacts to surge of the tidal sway
by drowning all breeze
but before calm blows it away
wind plays with mischief
by birthing miniscule wavelets
where play schools of seals.

How lovely Fay that you live in such a wonderful place where the beauty of nature is in abundance.

Tessa must love her walks along the coastline and in the countryside.

A beautiful write and i just loved the imagery of the waves gliding like snakes under duvets... :D

Wonderful....simply wonderful. 'like moving shadows or milky
ruffles of cream' is my favourite line. Just one thing though
Faye...Does Vernon Kay know that you're out with her ??

Beautiful descriptiveness to truly capture the feel as the sea meets the shore, Fay. Awesome picture, as well. An idyllic and scenic spot perfect for walking with Tessa and enjoying the beauty provided by the Lord, Ma'am.
