Seven Weeks In

Postby Tom Balch » Thu Jul 16, 2015 2:32 pm

It´s getting us down now
the dirt and the dust,
can´t wait for it all to end.

The contents of the entire house
have been packed into two rooms,
our bedroom and our living room;

The temporary shower I rigged up
on the patio serves us well;

The temporary kitchen in the front room
is a nightmare, fridges, microwaves,
TV´s, computers, sofa´s and...
us, that´s me the wife and the cat,
seven weeks in, it´s getting us down now.

Sounds like you are roughing it a bit mate. I know the feeling well. I'm
sure that it will be splendid when it's finished. Written like an extract
from the diary of Capt Lawrence Oates .."I'm going out now...........
..I may be some time".

Can feel for you Tom - - the same things happened here a few years ago and you think it will never end. Chin up though - - it does and you will look back and laugh at the chaos............... good to hear you are writing the frustration out though my friend.
