Thick and Thin

Postby stevenstirk » Wed Sep 02, 2015 7:02 pm

Rosemary Thicket was terribly thin
And looked very much like a stick
Penelope Thinnet was sisterly kin
But unlike Miss Thicket..was thick!

Rosemary's house was amazingly thin
With a narrow front door, and back gate
Penelope's doors would let anyone in
Her front door was wide..Eight foot eight

That's where the tension had steadily grown
Where malice increasingly grew
For Rosemary spent her life all on her own
Cos Penelope couldn't get through

To retaliate, Rosemary didn't call round
To Penelope's house anymore
The sisters fell out as they lacked common ground
Even though she could get through her door

While Rosy got thinner and never went out
Penelope thickened, the more
And that's what the feuding was always about
Even though they had both lived next door
