When you were in my arms,
the world just fell away;
thought that you'd be there,
for forever and a day.

When you touched my cheek,
my troubles ceased to be;
you took me to another place,
which no one else could see.

When you were in my arms,
I neglected all my plans;
to spend the time with you,
a fool for just your hands.

When you kissed my waiting lips,
then the world was lost to view;
traded for the pleasures,
that you and I once knew.

When you were in my arms,
then our souls were blended;
lovers to the finish line,
when your life was ended.

David, you have such a gentle and romantic soul my friend.
