Lake Ballet.
A-top the lake today splayed dot-dancing
nets of flickering sparkly bright gems, sun
and breeze playing duet I stood entranced
as pool teemed with life. Ducks having fun
with liquid glass created diamanté gleams.
Movement's white jiving mass of frenetic
performance like a pink-pearlized dreamy
revue with jewel-themed cast, wet stars let
brilliantly loose on fastest of glittery flings.
Buoyed by myriad quick winks the gilded
droplets flashed silver as circles of zinging
air went wild, displaying top speed willed
by cosmic joy. Then as breeze died the sun
went into hiding and Lake-Ballet was done.
