New Year Star Cascades

Postby Karin Anderson » Wed Dec 31, 2014 6:46 am

Image

(A Diminished Hexaverse)

(picture flckr by Darkest Soul

As billowed curtains blew
wide, full-moon sapphire sea
shimmered on dusk's spring-tide,
where precious unstrung jewels
dangled star cascades and
spilled gold on sand-panned ground.

We found a cottage
when blood sunset creamed
sherry in our hearts,
as wind's moans streamed down
music of the spheres.

You brought morn's blush
on a tea tray
bergamot sweet
deep as dimples

Like you knew
last night’s lust
flared love as

New Year’s
starfish

BLAZED!

Oh, but how very sensual this poem is...it touches so many senses, bringing to life such an ecstatic feel, Karin. A true treasure of a write this is, Ma'am. May the New Year see you ever-so inspired and smiling, my friend.

How inviting and I will have to read this again when New Year comes to England when its freezing cold and coloured white. What wonderfull expressions they seem to draw you into their beauty, love the picture yes the curtain blew open and invited the world to see beyond its depths a stunning poem with great imagination
